Frederick Schoch has devoted a lifetime to the sport of rowing. For over forty years, in addition to serving as executive director of the Head Of The Charles Regatta, he has successfully coached, advised, and mentored student athletes.
A well-known figure on the national and international rowing scene, FRED’s deep collegiate contacts and experience make him a superb choice to serve as a college placement advisor. As a former secondary school teacher and rowing coach, collegiate rowing coach and Princeton University admissions officer, his background is the perfect combination for college consulting.
For over a decade, FRED has mentored student-athletes and their families through the challenging college recruiting process. He has placed rowers at many of the D1 schools as well as D2-3 schools. His coaching contacts and unique educational background enable him to guide and encourage students to their best possible outcome.
